A few year ago, the fairly unknown George Mason University, located in Fairfax, Va., burst on the national scene when it's basketball team made the Final Four. Commentators were stunned, people couldn't believe it. Former alums, such as myself, were excited.
It's kind of how I felt this morning when I woke up to find that Communication Overtones had advanced to the final four of the PRWeek blog contest. The blog won by a mere 2 votes over Todd Defren's excellent PR-Squared blog.
I look forward to finding out more about my new competitor, Inside, which is a blog written about Employee and Internal Communications. It should be a fun time. They seem to have a good team over there.
So, what are you waiting for? If you enjoy the content at Communication Overtones, please click on this link and find the pie chart with the blog name. Clicking on the blog name will record your vote, you should see the numbers of votes go up by one person. And given the close margin of the last contest, every vote counts. Polls close at 5:30 ET on Friday August 29th.
The other two blogs advancing are Down the Avenue, by Renee Blodgett and Glass House by Frank X. Shaw.
