At our talk this week in San Antonio, Texas, The Case for Corporate Blogging, Alan and I addressed many burning questions about how blogs fit into a corporate communication strategy
during our presentation
We utilized a purpose-built del.icio.us page with links to relevant information from the presentation, including our PowerPoint presentations (Alan has great pictures and case studies, mine lays out the basic case for the inclusion of blogs in some corporate communications strategies)
We met PR blogger Lauren Vargas in person, and she and Alan made peace over this exchange about being terminated by a client. (The photo accompanying this post is of me and Lauren)
Alan and I had fun, but the attendees will have to tell you how they think it went. If you attended, don’t be shy, leave your thoughts about blogging and how it could fit in with corporate objectives.
Even if you think this social media thing is all hooey (Texas slang for worthless), please speak up and let us know your thoughts.
