Brendan Cooper (aka “The Friendly Ghost”), the author of The Friendly PR Index, recently launched a blog for his employer Porter Novelli, called PNeo.
A few weeks ago, Brendan called me from the UK to interview me for his employers blog. You can find the interview cross posted at his own blog here.
Brendan lived up to his friendly moniker and we had a great chat. We talked about social media trends, some of my favorite tools and advice to new bloggers.
There were a couple of things in the interview that came out a little bit off from what I was trying to say.
For one, I tried to describe how amazed I was that there was a back channel in blogging, that people actually talked to each other behind the scenes. And I was equally amazed at how easy it was to start talking with some of my favorite bloggers at the time.
I also would never call social media marketing PR. That is a long running fued between myself and some of my closest advisors.
Also, I would never spell organization as organisation, which proves that it was a phone interview.
I hope you check out the interview and Brendan's great blog.
