It's hard to be inclusive, but if you want the job done right, give it to Constantin Basturea. If you don't know who he is, you need to get to know him. He keeps multiple PR lists, including the PubSub list, the Bloglines list, the New PR Wiki and a bunch of others.
So on that note, he just sent me an e-mail with some new “toys” for the PR BlogSet.
“I just wanted to let you know that I created a list of PR blogs written by women. Besides personal blogs, you'll notice that I listed blogs that have women as contributors.”
There are a whopping 83 of such sites, which turns out to be just over 19 percent of all PR Blogs.
If you aren't on the list and you want to be, send an e-mail to Constantin and include your site name and URL. He can't add you unless you have an RSS feed. Get one for free at Feedburner. By the way, you don't have to be a women to get your site added to the PR list.
If you like OPML files he has one you can import into your reader. If you thought I was misspelling OPAL and you have no idea what OPML is, you can read this article, it helped me.
If you want to add the list as a feature of your blog, you can do it using the bitty browser.
Another solution is to import all the links into a Bloglines account, and use it to make a blogroll. I did this and that is how I know there are 83 feeds.
Oh, and he let me know that Renee Blodgett's “down the avenue” is at #16 today, a fine blog that has been around since 1999.
That said, I will lay the women blogger issue aside for a time. But I will be keeping an eye on it!
