I have been asked by Geoff Livingston to contribute to his new blog “Now Is Gone,” which accompanies his new book to be released soon. He has also asked Toby Bloomberg and Ike Pigott to work for free contribute to the blog. I am honored to serve with this all-star cast. But recently, it has been Ike that has been bringing the humor to the site.
In his landmark post, he explains the difference between Web 2.0 and PR 2.0, which is a term, as Todd Defren knows, that I hate with a passion.
Here is a small excerpt:
Fear not! ‘Web 2.0′ is not a commodity to be purchased by end-users such as yourself. It’s a series of technologies and structures that companies pay for! You just get to enjoy it!
You really must read it to get the full flavor, so click on over there and take a gander, as we would say in Texas.
