I promise to return to regularly scheduled programming, but first, let's get some inspiration to face another week.
Sometimes it is easy to cave into the feelings of being overwhelmed, and even more tempting to say, “I can't,” when faced with personal and professional obstacles. Here is a story about a father-and-son team that should you allow it, will inspire you to push past all the “can'ts” you might have pent up in your life. It is also a story that reminds me of the most important things in life.
Rick Hoyt was born in 1962 as a spastic quadriplegic with cerebral palsy. is a graduate of Boston University. He can't speak, but his mind is sharp. His father, Dick Hoyt, is a retired lieutenant colonel in the U.S. air nation guard and pushes, pulls and pedels with Rick though numerous tri-athlons every year.
Here is a some recent coverage about Team Hoyt. Be sure to take a few minutes to watch the video, I would be willing to bet it will inspire you all week.
Hat tip to my Mom.
Now, back to our regularly scheduled programming.
