Katie Paine's Measurement Standard is a free resource that has many cool new ideas and resources around measurement. If you don't get it, you should take a few minutes to subscribe (this is not her blog but yet another resource).
Since I am a measurement geek, I didn't expect to see anything new when Katie published her Ten No-Cost Ways to Measure Online Engagement.
But as is often the case with Katie, I was wrong.
There is an interesting tool that you can use to get a snapshot of any Webpage called Xinu. It measures Google page rank, Technorati, Indexing, Syndication (subscribers) from both Bloglines and FeedBurner, Backlinks, Social bookmarks, indexed pages, SEO analysis and validation.
It only gives raw numbers, so it doesn't help one to make sense of them (you have to do that yourself), but it does manage to give a quick look at all the open source information out there.
I am headed out for spring break today, so I may or may not be posting much next week. Thanks for staying subscribed. Much more will be on the way soon.
