Well Known MOMocrat and Entrepreneur to Help Build Out Account Services
Zoetica, LLC, announced that Julie Pippert will be joining the growing agency on January 1, 2011. Pippert has already been working with the team as a consultant on several accounts, including the award-winning Red Cross event in the summer of 2010 (link to our blog post). Pippert will serve as the agency’s Director of Accounts and will work with President Kami Huyse to provide account services to the firm’s many clients.
Julie Pippert specializes in communication development, especially for technical, health care, parenting, political, nonprofit and advocacy groups. As a managing editor for a healthcare publisher HCPro, Julie released some of the top selling books.

Over the past five years, Julie has emerged as a leader in digital media outreach and online communication strategy. She’s spoken at major national conferences and events about the macro-impact of social media and how to use it as an effective tool, particularly for causes. Julie sits on the American Cancer Society’s Blogger Advisory Council, and she helped launch the new Choose You campaign as co-founder and managing editor of the Choose You blog.
She has managed the Blue Star Museums program for Blue Star Families, a support organization for military families, in conjunction with the National Endowment for the Arts. Julie recently was a contributing author to the spectacular celebration of women’s work, Kirtsy Takes a Bow. She has been published in the Houston Chronicle, The Guardian, and Chicago Sun Times, among others. She was named one of “The Stir’s” 30 Political Mom Bloggers Who Will Change Your Vote, has consulted with national and local political campaigns, is an editor at TheMotherhood.com, has a monthly parenting column for “Savvy Source,” and is a contributor to MOMocrats.
