Comments Out of Control
New tool will make monitoring blog chatter about your Web site easier
Today, Steve Rubel reported that Google is now offering a Firefox extention that allows you to see the comments of any blog that is linked to that page.
It also allows a blogger the ability to add a (Blogger) post directly from the Web page.
WOW!
If expanded to other platforms, this tool has the potential to end the disagreement about comments and their control (turn them off, turn them on or moderate).
It is also a great tool to see if bloggers are connecting to your corporate Web page and what they are saying. It also is a convenient way to quickly go to those pages and post any comments that you might have.
After installing the program, I visited all of my client’s Web pages. I will be using this as part of my client monitoring program.
It turns out that I am not the only one who sees this tool as being a pretty nifty tool for communicators, read Shel Holtz here.
