Leading the Zoetica team is Beth Kanter the author of Beth’s Blog: How Nonprofits Can Use Social Media, one of the longest running and most popular blogs for nonprofits. Beth has over 30 years working in the nonprofit sector. A frequent contributor to many nonprofit technology web sites, blogs, and magazines, Beth has authored chapters in several books, including “Managing Technology to Meet Your Mission: A Strategic Guide for Nonprofit Leaders,” edited by NTEN both published in 2009. She co-authored the book titled “The Networked Nonprofit” with Allison Fine. The title was published by J Wiley in 2010
A much in demand speaker and trainer, she was the keynote speaker for the Cambodian Bloggers Conference in Phnom Penh, The Connecting Up Conference in Brisbane, Australia, Minnesota Council on Nonprofits, Making Media Conference in Chicago and others. In 2009, she was named by Fast Company Magazine as one of the most influential women in technology and one of Business Week’s “Voices of Innovation for Social Media.” She is the 2009 Visiting Scholar for Social Media and Nonprofits for the Packard Foundation. She is also a 2010 fellow with the Society for Communications Research.
Kami Watson Huyse
APR, President and Chief Operating Officer

Working closely with Beth to lead our Zoetica team is Kami Watson Huyse, author of Communication Overtones, on the topic of public relations and social media strategy. She is considered a national leader in the use of social media for public relations.
A 16-year-veteran of public relations, she speaks at social media events and conferences all over the country and her work in social media has earned her the SNCR’s 2008 Reputation Management award and IABC’s 2009 Gold Quill of Excellence Award. She was also recently recognized for a Social Media award by the Austin-American Statesman. Additionally, she was named the Public Relations Professional of the Year by the Public Relations Association of America San Antonio. She is also a 2010 fellow with the Society for Communications Research.
She has run the virtual PR agency, My PR Pro, since 2002 and is the strategic architect for many successful social media campaigns.
Geoff Livingston
Chief Marketing Officer

Rounding out the strategic company lead is Geoff Livingston, who runs sales and marketing for Zoetica, and provides research and strategy services. He has worked as a public relations strategist in the Washington, D.C. region for more than 16 years.
Dubbed a “local blogging guru” by the Washington Post, Geoff’s award-winning book on new media “Now is Gone” was released in 2007. He continues to blog about nonprofit use of social media for Mashable, and on environmental issues for Live Earth.
He sold his social media boutique Livingston Communications to CRT/tanaka in April of 2009. Some of his professional experiences include United Way of America, Save Darfur, the Goodwill of Greater Washington, Environmental Defense Fund, Live Earth, ChildFund International, the Campus Kitchens Project, the Philanthropy 2.0 Project, Network Solutions, Sully Erna (Godsmack lead singer), and many others.
